Teacher Professional Development Summary

COVID-19 has led to widespread school closures around the world, presenting unique and unprecedented challenges for students and teachers. In response to this crisis, Rising Academies is designing a radio-based teacher professional development program so that all teachers are ready to return to the classroom as soon as schools reopen. Our content will facilitate continuous professional development for teachers while schools are closed.

We will leverage the curriculums we have designed and refined over the past 6 years working with teachers and students in West Africa. Our established teacher training curriculum will shape the design of the program.
